UNITIZED BODY ANALYSIS & REPAIR PLANNING

This advanced 2-Day (16-Hour) interactive class is designed for entry level and experianced structural repair technicians who require training in unibody vehicle analysis and repair planning. The course is a prerequisite to the "Advanced Unitized Body Repair" technician's class.

In this course, technicians will learn the fundamental principles of collision theory, measuring, analyzing, repair planning, and setup for unibody vehicles to maximaze both repair quality and profitability.

Key "hands-on" learning activities include:

    • Identification of internal and external forces that occure during a collision that cause stuctural misalignment in unibody vehicles.
    • Use of Collision Therory and basic measuring procedures to measure and analyze collision damage to unibody vehicles.
    • Developing an accurate repair plan based on this analysis.
    • Using the repair plan to setup a collision damaged vehicle in preparation for realighnment.
