This advanced 2-Day (16-Hour) advanced offering is designed for experianced structural repair technicians who have already successfully completed the prerequisite course entitled Unitized Body Analysis & Repair Planning. This course expands into more detailed hands on instruction related to unibody repair.
In this course, technicians will review the fundamental principles of collision theory, measuring, analyzing, repair planning, and setup for unibody vehicles to maximaze both repair quality and profitability.
Key "hands-on" learning activities include:
- Identification of internal and external forces that occure during a collision that cause stuctural misalignment in unibody vehicles.
- Use of collision theory and basic measuring procedures to measure and analyze collision damage to unibody vehicles.
- Developing an accurate repair plan based on this analysis.
- Using the repair plan to setup a collision damaged vehicle in preparation for realighnment.
- Actual "real world" case studies of collision damaged unibody vehicles.
- The most extensive unibody hands-on training offered in any course.
